L

Lift Cord - A cord designed to raise and lower blinds or shades.

Light Control - A window blind or shade's ability to let different levels of light into a room.

M

Matchstick Blinds - Refer to woven shades.

Motorized Lift - A remote control option for raising and lowering blinds and shades.

Motorized Tilter - A remote control option to control the angle of vanes or slats.

Mount - Includes inside mount and outside mount.  Refers to how the blind or shade is attached to the wall or frame.

O

One-way Stack - Blinds and shades that close stacking to one side, either the left or right.

Opaque - Refers to the level of blocked outside light.  Opaque fabric blocks out a high percentage of light.

Opposite Stack - Vertical Blinds that stack closed on the opposite side of the controls.

Outside Mount - A window shade or blind that is installed on the outside of the window or door frame.
